JOB REQUIREMENTS: Objective of the Position : Responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy to capture development of new markets, new applications and new customers; initiation of customer relationship and selling process; marketing coordination; marketing intelligence; competitive intelligence; input into new product development and acquisitions; and other activities as required. Main responsibilities : * Regional sales strategy development and implementation to achieve annual sales and booking targets. * Identification and development of new customers including customer profiling, initial contact, relationship building, and securing initial business; management of target account process. * Identification and development of new markets or new applications. * Personnel management of the inside and field sales team. * Development and implementation of the market price strategy [Components and Aftermarket] in existing and new markets. * Key Account Management (Buildup relationship to decision makers). * Organization and execution of regular sales meetings. * Work with the sales team to meet or exceed annual sales plan for the region. Assist in sales process to secure new business. * Develop annual sales and booking plans. * Visit customer or attend industry events as need to understand market trends, regulatory requirements, new cooling technologies, market needs, competitor activity, etc. * Identify and coordinate marketing activities * Recruit, hire, coach, and evaluate the sales team. * Strong cooperation with the other departments (e.g. Production, Engineering) of the company. * Steady Order and project controlling (Pricing, etc.). * Market knowledge and trends (competition). * Have a detailed sales partner plan and strategy * Report out metrics on quote hit rate and margin achievements * Keep an up to date quote follow up log and ensure the team is following up in a timeous manner * Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team to ensure staff retention and fulfilment Education : BS Mechanical Engineering or MBA with strong technical understanding Professional experience : 10 years of experience in a similar management role working with engineering products.
