Burnett Medical Center Hiring for Transcriptionist at Grantsburg, WI Full Time

SHIFT & HOURS:
40 hours/wk., Days, Monday-Friday, weekend coverage possible.

DUTIES:
Transcribes technical medical data from recorded dictation. Assures distribution of transcribed reports to physician offices, auditors/ coders and HIM departments as required. Performs other clerical duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability and willingness to transcribe all types of dictated reports which are the responsibility of the Health Information Department. Extensive course study in medical terminology and anatomy or equivalent of same through experience and on-the-job training. One year of previous experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills are a must.

Must pass drug screen and physical therapy evaluation at the time of hire. In alignment with CDC recommendations to prevent seasonal influenza, BMC mandates employees to receive annual influenza vaccination at no cost to the employee, unless you have a documented contraindication.
