Technical Support Lead Analyst Job Description
The Technical Support Lead Analyst will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and managing compliant configuration and system enhancement deliverables; actively participate in requirements gathering, documentation, design, and codingacross the Part C Operational Readiness organization.
The Technical Support Lead Analyst will also work closely with Software Developers and other testers to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining and executing test plans and test cases against our hardware and software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing and communicating test results, defect tracking and participating in day to day testing activities.
The individual in this role should have the ability to pro-actively manage multiple tasks, have strong communication skills, and be willing to take ownership of challenging assignments. A sound working understanding of IT concepts and the IT design & delivery life cycle is essential.
Primary Duties
Ability to understand well-designed code and/or configure systems and document test plans for new and/or existing applications
Participate in configuration activities that include defining requirements, design, and system development
Perform configuration management / system management functions: planning, configuration identification, status accounting, configuration control and audits, and data management
Ensure project team complies with configuration management policies and procedures, provide efficient release/base-lining management, and provide recommendations for improving change management
Testing application configuration and product functionality to ensure accuracy with specifications with each release.
Perform UAT and quality testing for production environments as needed
Qualifications
At least 1 year of Medicare/healthcare experience required.
At least 1-4 years of experience utilizing independent judgment and discretion, designing, developing, testing, debugging. Experience with implementing moderately complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems.
History of managing modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintaining program libraries and technical documentation
Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
Experience with different software languages, design principles, and methods
Fundamental understanding of operating systems
Strong understanding of testing, coding, and debugging procedures
Ability to speak and communicate with the technical team and the business team in their own vernacular and translate concepts between both teams
Ability to organize requirements and resources to assist with project needs
Must be proactive and innovative in research and analysis efforts
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Up to 25% travel depending on project scope and deliverables
Ability to work non-standard hours during release windows
Mentor other Technical Support Analysts
Drive mentality of quality being owned by the entire team
Passion for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing team; passion for improving configuration quality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues
This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
