Responsible for overseeing the implementation of data management practices and the adoption of data capabilities to support enablement of improved data , and for driving coordination between ICG, the Enterprise Data Office and the Federated Chief Data Offices. Also responsible for representing the ICG CDO in the development of Citi’s strategic data infrastructure
Responsibilities:
Develop an operating model and serve as the bidirectional primary liaison between Enterprise Data Office and key stakeholders for implementation of data management practices and addressing data issues through use cases
Establish consistent, streamlined processes supporting priority use case enablement , coordinating across stakeholder groups
Lead communication to key stakeholders (e.g., sharing best practices, educating on consistent approaches), and serve as ‘voice of customer’ and capture critical feedback to help improve data management practices
Collaborate with ECDO, other FCDOs and ICG CDO teams (e.g., Reference Data, Data Quality) to develop consistent information gathering artefacts, collect existing data issues, document key stakeholder requirements for target state data capabilities and drive relevant capability building efforts within key stakeholder groups
Provide transparency and communicate near-term and longer-term approaches to key stakeholders for data capability implementation based on availability and maturity of target state capabilities, tools, architecture, etc.
Ensure alignment of key stakeholder target state requirements to existing milestones
Drive the coordination and integration for selected data related projects and remediation efforts that involve multiple data-related functions, and/or impact multiple key stakeholder groups
Represent the ICG CDO in developing and overseeing the development of a strategic data infrastructure , including major applications critical to the Data Transformation, improved application integration across ICG businesses and the adoption of key Citi-wide standards
Required Skills:
12+ years of finance and overall business management experience in a complex, financial organization, with particular focus in the data space highly preferred
Proven ability to execute large complex change programs
Exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong core finance technical skills and solid understanding of finance processes, infrastructure and systems
Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment
Proven ability to lead/manage a Business/Function/Region of a large, global financial firm
Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels
Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills
