SEN Learning Support Assistant – Wakefield

We are looking for individuals who are available for daily supply work or long term Learning Support Assistant positions in the local area.

You will be working 1:1 with pupils with special educational needs ranging from ADHD, ASD, Global Developmental Delay and SEMH. Previous experience working with SEN children is essential.
You must have:

• Experience working 1:1 with SEN children

• Strong behaviour management
• Calm and patient manner
• Ability to form strong relationships with pupils
• Grade C and above in English and Mathematics
• Child only DBS on the online update service

The ideal applicant will have:

• Have previous experience providing interventions

• A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils

• Bags of creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
