Exciting opportunity to work with the Global Industry Vice Chair and Industry Market Leaders in driving initiative and theme prioritization, regional agreement and contribution and cross sector/service line delivery team mobilization. This role provides market led thinking, industry convergence & solution development experience, combined with execution focused leadership to the Global Vice Chair of Industry and the Industry Market Leaders.
The opportunity
Pivotal role in bringing together adjacent sectors which in turn will enable:
active identification and shaping of new areas of convergence, identifying value and global growth opportunities for EY and clients – Built upon a strong understanding of EY’s global business, clients’ issues and buyers’ agenda across sectors, geographies and accounts globally
strengthening of brand and account relationships- Strong client facing and engagement delivery experience, proposition and business development. Knowledge and leverage of flagship client experiences – using client engagement assets across each region i.e. wavespaces
delivery of prioritized cross sector initiatives and new solutions, leverageable cross region to drive growth across global accounts (G360 and Focus core) – leveraging experience of delivering cross sector initiatives, development of solutions (including asset based) and understanding of and experience working with alliances
optimization of EY’s market impact and return on investment – key point of integration across what is being developed across each Industry Market Group. Strong understanding of available funding sources (EY, Alliances, and Client Tech) combined with approval and allocation processes.
Your key responsibilities
Primary purpose is to work with Global Industry leadership in the bringing together of adjacent sectors around futuristic themes and next generation solutions. Effectively:
creating EY’s cross sector market voice around the future of industries and ecosystems – in response to market changes, digital disruption, technology & innovation
working with clients and alliances in the incubation and creation of co-developed solutions that drive transformation
building momentum, education and insight across G360 and Focus Core account and regional teams
The role will also:
Develop a strong initial and ongoing grasp of the theme content, forces for change, and cross sector implications to help connect all facets simply and inform impactful market stories and solution co-development.
Maintain knowledge of broader market changes, digital disruption, technology and innovation to pragmatically inform ongoing theme prioritization and cross sector connectivity.
Build strong relationships, collaborate closely and effectively with all relevant stakeholders across sectors, areas, regions, service lines and accounts to gain sponsorship.
Provide advice and ongoing guidance to the initiative delivery team on the definition, outcomes and approach of each initiative, leveraging previous experience, success stories and lessons.
Oversee execution of each initiative with review and input to key deliverables and market events, as appropriate.
Provide honest view of progress to GVC Industry, identifying issues requiring leadership action. Troubleshoot initiative issues independently as appropriate. Ensure the join up across SOL, BMC, Sector Learning and Knowledge communities as appropriate, working closely with other key members of the Sector Enablement Team.
Management of two direct reports, in addition to any resources allocated to the team on a purchased or secondment basis.

To qualify for the role you must have
Ability to leverage experience of delivering cross sector initiatives, development of solutions (including asset based)
Understanding of and experience working with Alliances
Strong client facing background
Lead development of leadership-ready deliverables from inception to delivery
Ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and priorities
Ability to address conceptual and creative problems due to the innovative and market leading nature of these activities.
MS PowerPoint and Excel skills
What we look for
Currently working within EY or with a strong Big 4 track record and in-depth, hands-on experience of business operations management.
Minimum of 10 years in a big four accounting firm or similar broad professional services experience required.
Will require ability to quickly build relationships with, and influence, leadership stakeholders across Industries, Service Lines, Executive Functions and Areas.
Strong experience in external client facing roles and across geographies is needed, combined with significant experience in driving strategic change within a professional services organization such as EY.
