Edwards Health Care Services (EHCS), a division of GEMCORE, is a well-established and growing national direct-to home medical supply provider. We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Records Representative to join our high energy team. The Medical Records Representative’s primary role is to obtain medical records directly from physician offices for the purpose of insurance compliance.

• This is a full-time, non-exempt, entry level position.
• This position is remote for now but will be located in Louisville, KY.
• Schedule is 8:15 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Employer paid vacation.

• Ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Documents to include, but not limited to, medical records, certificates of medical necessity, pharmacy prescriptions and lab work.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with medical offices.
• Communicate with customer on issues relating to documentation and missing information.
• Data entry of updated customer account information for claim processing.
• Outbound calls to physician offices to obtain all documentation and required forms.

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
