Assess clients on admission, with respect to behavioral health needs, and on a continuing basis, review, update and execute that assessment. Establish and review goals for each client. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities supervised by an appropriately licensed practitioner include: *Informs clients of limits to confidentiality, rights regarding services delivered and payment expectations *Performs diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and counseling services within supervised scope of practice in collaboration with clients *Coordinates interventions with a multi-disciplinary treatment team *May provide emergency consultation and crisis assessment intervention. *Maintains efficient and timely clinical documentation within GESMV Behavioral Health guidelines *Integrates services and /or make referrals to appropriate professionals or outside agencies as indicated *Participates in the assessment of programs needs and peer review, as well as cooperates with performance improvement and Key Process Indicator (KPI)as defined *Performs community outreach, information and referral, and education assignments, as well as consultation services as approved by supervisor *Provides billable services in excess of a minimum of 40% productivity or more than 64 hours per month *Complies with confidentiality and protected health information rules *Attends staff meetings, in-services, case conferences, supervision sessions, etc.as scheduled *Other duties may be assigned. *Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards *Competency demonstrated in the prerequisite duties for clinical practice as documented through peer review *Performs other related duties as assigned including support activities as needed to augment functioning of the agency Supervisory Responsibilities Under the supervision of an Independently Licensed Practitioner and to advance clinical practice may oversee the work of interns and volunteers. Education Requirements Appropriate Degrees to support your licensure status (LSW, LPC, MFT, CDCA, LCDC II or III)Maintain up to date CPR and First Aid certification Experience Requirements1 year of practice experience in behavioral health setting providing one on one client therapy, diagnostic assessment and treatment planning.
