The Marketing Analytics & Reporting Manager at LinkedIn will be an integral member of the centralized Reporting & Channel Analytics Team, which advances thought partnerships on key marketing initiatives with data. We are looking for a strong analytics and visualization professional to join our expanding team. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, upstream infrastructure engineering teams and downstream data consumers to understand data and translate business requirements into technical design of building scalable data pipelines and reporting dashboards.
The ideal candidate will have 1) Solid experience in working with consumer business analytics, 2) Managed large scale reporting and complex data sets, 3) Experience in extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various data sources to reporting databases , 4) Worked with Marketers to understand business requirements to design and create data visualizations and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
Leverage Linkedin’s unique data to drive insights and learnings for product improvement
Write SQL/Presto/Spark/Python queries to extract, blend and analyze structured and unstructured data, and present the findings in Tableau and PowerPoint
Construct data pipeline workflows and job automations for the Consumer Job Seeker business. Develop Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) specifications and mappings to support data conversion and integration.
Develop and maintain processes for tracking campaign data sources, data quality, completeness, redundancy vs. replication.
Partner with Data Science and Engineering teams to design and build source of truth data tables. Maintain and improve the accessibility and understanding of the core data and KPIs for the Consumer business.
Produce high quality Tableau dashboards, effectively tell a story with data by implementing best practices in data visualization to inform strategic decisions for Marketing stakeholders. Diagnose and correct data issues in core dashboards and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders and decision makers to prioritize, design and fulfill data reporting needs.
Deliver on multiple initiatives in the same time frame with minimal supervision.
This role can be located in San Francisco/Sunnyvale, New York, Chicago or Remote depending on where the applicant chosen resides.
Basic Qualifications:
5+ years experience writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract trends
5+ years experience in a role requiring research, data interrogation, analysis and visualization
5+ years of hands-on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Science/Engineering, or Marketing Analytics
5+ years of experience designing and developing business intelligence dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Server
Experience in SQL, Hive, and/or Presto
Preferred Qualifications:
Empirical understanding of data systems and ETL processes
Experience working with large and complex datasets.
Working knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing and batch processing
Ability to communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Data Science, and IT with minimal supervision
Proven ability to prioritize, project-manage, and drive progress forward under pressured timelines
