KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Maintains professional knowledge and fully complies regarding health care billing, coding, procedures, insurance carriers, HIPPA regulations and all local, state, and federal programs
· Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
· Needs to multitask while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Must have time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
· Must take initiative to work individually and in a team environment
· Maintain attention to detail for accurate information, reporting each call into database software
· Making outbound calls
· Receiving inbound calls
· Identifying consumer payment plans
· Setting up consumer payments over the phone
· Provide information to Client Services as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
· Education and experience- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years related experience.
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and emails, including the ability to write correspondence.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, understanding the debit v. credit calculations.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
· To perform this job successfully you should have knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, as well as the internal systems of both the client and the company.
