Led by a team of internationally-renowned genomic medicine scientists, we are housed in the campus’ newest research building, spanning 25,000 square feet of laboratory and office space in a highly interactive setting.We’re looking for a Software Configuration Developer to join our Data Management team to support the development and implementation of a commercial Laboratory Information Management System (LabVantage LIMS). The team is responsible for supporting, customizing and further developing the LIMS to facilitate the flow of information to and from other equipment and systems used in the labs, improving lab efficiency, ensuring sample integrity, and promoting easy reporting. The software developers are responsible for both standing up the system with out of the box functionality and custom development needs to ultimately produce a cohesive solution that streamlines lab processes and ensures the ability to manage, track, and database genomics data within the LIMS.You will have the opportunity to work on a highly collaborative team, developing and customizing software which has a direct impact on pediatric patient care. We are looking for a candidate with with enterprise software configuration and customization experience who enjoys solving complex problems. Previous experience with laboratory processes or health care is desireable but not required for this position (on the job training will be provided as needed). This position is part of a distributed team that on occasion will need to come to the NCH main campus for meetings.
