What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: In this position, you will get to: Provide support in the application of Lean Principles and Methods, which will improve the quality of products, eliminate unnecessary waste, reduce production times and reduce total costs. Work with colleagues to support the promotion of Lean culture through identifying, realizing and optimizing Lean solutions within the manufacturing space Complete events and projects required to implement the Future State Plans. Prioritize improvement objectives identified through the Transformation Planning process, based upon tactical planning objectives including growth, delivery, safety, quality, cost and cash Support and coordinate Lean Kaizen Events through organizing materials & schedules, managing room set-up, facilitating meetings, and recording action items. Additionally, report Kaizen progress and facilitate 30,60,90 day reviews. You have: Obtained or interest in secondary education, Associate or Bachelor level (preferred) At least 1 year of experience applying Lean Principles and Methods in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, and support new processes in a changing business environment.
