Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY: The Information Security Analyst II focuses on the day-to-day operation of the IT security infrastructure, assisting with articulating technical security requirements, monitoring the effectiveness of existing IT security framework, making recommendations for enhancements, and raising the level of security awareness. Optimizes and manages security technologies to provide detective and preventative capabilities (vulnerability scanning, endpoint security, intrusion detection, network forensics, network, and application security and security, and event/incident management). This role provides primary operational support for security events and alerts as well as response support to users, advising users on alignment to security policies.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate Degree with a concentration in Computer Science or other closely related field to understand technology principles and 2 years’ experience OR 4 experience in Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity.
Other Licenses/Certifications:
At least one or more of the following: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, (ISC)2 Associate. All certifications must be maintained. Other IT-related certifications will be considered.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Computer Science or other closely related field in order to understand technology principles.
Certifications: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials). Other IT-related certifications will be considered.
Experience: 3 of previous work-related experience within the healthcare information technology or cybersecurity industry.Experience with key OSF applications.
