KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Serve as a point of contact for escalated administrative and claim issues which will require investigation, communication and a focus on achieving a timely resolution
Ø Regularly provides input into product and process development
Ø Participates in finalist presentations, as required
Ø Assist in the completion of projects working side by side with the Advisor
Ø Responsible for completing follow ups with clients
Ø Flexible and comfortable working non-traditional hours during RRSP season, which will include evenings and weekends
Ø Customer service oriented
E*xperience and qualifications*
Ø A minimum of 3 years of mutual fund or insurance experience in a customer service and/or sales-related environment
Ø Bilingual
Ø Possesses a DEC, DEP or AEC
Ø Must be Mutual Fund and/or Insurance licensed
Ø Working knowledge of Word and Excel
Ø Knowledge of UNIVERIS (Asset: To process Mutual Fund trades)
Ø Detailed knowledge in all areas of group insurance including: processes, contracts, new business issue, claims, underwriting procedures and guidelines
Ø Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of clients
Ø Excellent presentations skills, training skills, and ability to educate clients and advisors with respect to company systems, products, benefits, processes and procedures
Ø Experience using WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Google Meets and other virtual meeting platforms, etc
