Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is a position accountable for developing the regional marketing strategy, building the opportunity pipeline and delivering revenue growth for the assigned service/product/business portfolio. As well, this position is responsible for the regional market assessment and pricing for the introduction of the product or service as part of the product development process and field deployment. The Business Development Manager owns and leads the pursuit of portfolio related opportunities from early engagement to tender or proposal submission with focus on closure and develops/enforces agreed business models with other BL’s, as needed. This position also shares responsibilities with PSD for the execution of the assigned service/product/business portfolio jobs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Participates in the creation and implementation of the marketing/sales plan for all aspects of the assigned portfolio.
Provides support to the sales, commercial and marketing teams within the domains of the assigned business.
Identify new business opportunities – new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets, for the assigned service/product/business.
Promote portfolio value proposition and business offerings internally and externally.
Participates in the opportunity management process for critical opportunities.
Leads the development of proposal strategies/content/commercial models, both base and alternative cases.
Coordinate the technical, operational, commercial and legal risk mitigation/support/reviews for all proposals.
Lead proposal/tender management reviews to obtain alignment and approval before proposal submission.
Participate in customer proposal/contract negotiations, as needed.
Ensures proper handover of associated contracts to GeoUnit stakeholders.
Develops and maintains good customer relationships in the assigned geography.
Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events to gain insight on industry trends and developments.
Mninum Requirements
+20 years’ experience of sales, financial and operation management experience. +10 in Oil & Gas industry.
Bachelor degree.
Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US without sponsorship
