Summary:

Ensures the appropriate selection, dosing, administration, and dispensing of medication orders in the Ambulatory Pharmacy.

Work Schedule:

• Full Time, 80 hours / pay period

• Nights and hours may vary

• Night shift

Responsibilities :

• Reviews and assesses medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential and actual drug related problems.

• Recommends formulary alternatives when appropriate. Compounds and dispenses medications for retail sales.

• Provides drug information and education to consumers.

• Communicates with physicians and other clinicians as necessary to facilitate care.

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.

• Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Pharmacist.

The pay range for this position is: $50.76 – $76.14 / hour. An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
