This is a Permanent Part-time position working 60 hours bi-weekly.
This position provides reception, clerical, and administrative support to the School Administration, teaching staff, and student body to ensure the efficient operation of Ross River community school.
Visitors/Our Clients: Welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Assist visitors by giving directions to our various locations and maintaining employee and department directories;
Unit Support: Provides clerical and administrative support to the school by assisting with administrative work load, maintaining the student data information system, word processing a variety of correspondence, mail outs, and other documentation.

Essential Qualifications:

Experience providing service to someone or a business in a front facing role
Basic administrative tasks such as, tracking and data entry, photocopying, scanning and faxing, filing/records management, processing mail (include e-mail and sensitive mail)
Working in a library setting or similar environment would be an asset
Experience working with Aspen or other data systems would be an asset
Candidates with an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant experience will be equally considered.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Suitability:
The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, be able to work independently in a very busy and sometimes stressful environment. The ideal candidate should also be able to work under pressure, deal with constant interruptions and critical deadlines.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
