Hyatt Regency Vancouver is in search of a dedicated, customer service oriented individual to join the Front Office team as a Host (Overnight).
The Overnight Host is responsible for the oversight of specific night audit duties as well as overseeing the Front Office during the overnight shift. They will perform the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires or incidents.
Starting wage for this position is $21.20 per hour, after 6 months wage is $24.74 per hour, after 1 year wage is $28.27 per hour.
This position will be scheduled from 11:00pm to 7:30am (graveyard shifts). Must be able to work various days including weekends and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
Must be able to work graveyard shifts, various days including weekends and holidays (11:00PM to 7:30AM shifts) as required by business needs
Must possess refined and professional verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
Previous experience in Opera property management system is an asset
Previous Front Desk hotel experience is preferred
Must have previous cash handling experience
Must have previous customer service experience
Knowledge of basic math skills required
Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
Must be very detail oriented
Knowledge of a second language is an asset

Frequent walking throughout the shift
