The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Clinical Documentation Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Collect wound assessments based on payer requirements

• Review clinical information and assess wound progression for patients on V.A.C. ® Therapy

• Develop and manage customer relationships creating loyalty with Clinical Providers

• Collaborate with other 3M+KCI team members to provide continuity of care, resolving higher level account management issues, and communicating physician call support

• Effectively using business and clinical data in accordance with 3M+KCI policies

• Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly production expectations based on department priorities

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) an accredited institution

• One (1) year of experience making outbound calls in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with interpretation of medical records

Travel: 0% domestic travel

Relocation Assistance : May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
