Spot Welding Technologist 

3Way Solutions is a Wigram based metal fabrication company involved in a wide range of metal manufacturing activities. Our primary focus is contract sheet metal fabricated and our client base includes a significant number of overseas as well as New Zealand based companies.  

To be suitable for this role you will need to be highly motivated, have good hand skills, sheet metal Spot Welding or fabrication experience, a passion for the job and an eye for detail. 

Key responsibilities include:
 

Accurate spot welding of a diverse range of products

• Ensuring job quality requirements and standards are achieved   
• Ensuring health and safety requirements 
• Accurate shop clock reporting 

The successful candidate will:
Have a background and passion for spot welding or fabrication/welding and be a motivated self-starter. 

• A knowledge of  AWS C1.1M/C1.1:2019  weld standards an advantage
• Have proven spot welding skills and experience (pre-employment test will be required) 
• Be results focused, organised, efficient, punctual and have your own transport for getting to work
• Have a strong health and safety focus
• Understand manufacturing drawings

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the light fabrication of MS, SS and Aluminum including sheet metal processing
