A Compassionate Care Company Hiring for Administrative Assistant / HR support Job at Orofino, ID Full Time

We are seeking to hire a Administrative Assistant/H.R. support to join in our mission to enhance the lives of the those with disabilities, aging adults and their families.

This is an important role within our organization as the individual will one of the first interactions with various audiences: clients, our wonderful caregivers, and potential caregivers looking to join our team.

This position will work with the A Compassionate Care, Co team to recruit, hire, and retain CAREGivers.

Primary Responsibilities are not limited to the following:

• Meet with potential CAREGiver applicants to determine position suitability
• Provide orientation and trainings
• Coach CAREGiver staff so they feel supported and valued
• Manage CAREGiver hiring process, including drug screening and background checks
• Use of spreadsheets to capture trends and data
• Ensuring CAREGivers onboarding requirments
• Maintain regular attendance in order to execute job responsibilities
• Must be willing to participate to cover on-call (rotating), evenings and one weekend a month

Education/Experience/Other Requirements:

• A background in office clerical or other HR support , recruiting, and compliance with emphasis on retention is desirable
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Experience in home care, health care, social services, or a senior-related industry preferred
• Have a passion for seniors
• Ability to demonstrate “customer first” prioritization of activities
• Must have 1 year in an office environment
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure with high call volume
• Professionalism and confidentiality is essential
• Must be a team player and work well with others, and be able to take direction from owners and staff members
• Must be organized, attention to detail, and a self-starter and able to multi-task and follow through
• Must be willing to learn and grow
• Must be reliable and dependable
• Ability to anticipate challenges, initiate solutions and prioritize multiple tasks
• Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills
• Order all needed office supplies; maintaining an up to date inventory
• Put together all needed materials for training, marketing etc
• Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with the Office Administrator (direct supervisor), office colleagues, CAREGivers, community members, and the local franchise owners

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
