PURPOSE:
Perform various food preparation and service activities in company restaurants, maintaining the
highest standard of food, consistency, sanitation/safety, preparation and quality while strictly
adhering to the company’s operating, business, human resources policies and related
government regulation.
REPORTS TO: Store or Shift Manager SUBORDINATES: None
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Prepare food as directed including, cutting vegetables, rolling pickles and peppers, set
up food displays, fill soda or vending or other service machines/equipment.
2. Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks relative to food service operations.
3. Perform as grill cook and / or food preparer in preparing sandwiches, salads and other
food items as ordered by our customer.
4. Assemble and bag food orders as directed
5. Assist cutters, cooks or others in use, cleaning and minor repair of food handling
equipment including slicers, stoves, grills, coolers, freezers, cookware & utensils etc.
6. Assist in taking in-store inventory and putting items in their proper place for storage.
7. Perform general clean up and maintenance tasks such as mopping/sweeping floors,
bathrooms, window washing, and wiping down counters & shelves, empty trash etc.
8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift or Store Manager
REQUIREMENTS
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Entry level position. Must understand importance of food sanitation/handling/preparation
techniques as they apply to the fast food restaurant industry. Cooking, food preparation,
cleaning, communication and organizational abilities are essential. Must be able to work flexible
and extended hours as required by the operations of the restaurants. Must pass company math
test. (5th grade level).
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or GED required

PURPOSE:
Perform cashier, money handling and customer contact activities in company restaurants,
maintaining the highest degree of customer service, accuracy, and report preparation while
strictly adhering to the company’s operating, business, human resources policies and related
government regulation.
REPORTS TO: Store or Shift Manager SUBORDINATES: None
PRIMARY DUTIES:
1. Perform as cashier and first contact with all customers as they approach the counter to
order. Cheerfully greet each customer and ask for their food order.
2. Accurately input customer orders into the POS (Point of Sale system), collect payment
from customers, making sure they get their correct food order.
3. Communicate as needed with other food service team members to assure the accuracy
in preparation and bagging of customer food orders.
4. Ensure the proper and accurate handling of cash, credit cards and other receipts from
customers or payments from the register to vendors or others.
5. Perform various money counting, reconciliation and reporting tasks at the start and end
of each shift for the POS, such as counting the bank “til” or doing a “ring out”.
6. Inform manager of any problems encountered with POS or other equipment, policies or
procedures effecting cashiers job duties. Keep POS/counter area clean and orderly.
7. Act as initial contact for customer complaints while at the counter. Resolve the issue
within company policy or refer to store manager on duty as needed.
8. May assist in taking in-store inventory and putting items in their proper place for storage.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift or Store Manager
REQUIREMENTS
