A-Team Solutions Hiring for Shipper/Packer (Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy) at Chelmsford, MA Full Time

A-Team Solutions is seeking 50+ shippers/packers for a possible 5 year contract position at the VA CMOP in Chelmsford MA. Start would be upon approval and credentialing on or around April 1st2023.

Job Task:

Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content

Selection of appropriate type and size of container

Inserting enclosures in container

Using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage

Closing and sealing container

Applying labels or entering identifying data on container

Operates various types of packaging equipment

Must be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipment

Must be able to respond to alarms and alerts

Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner

Requirements:

Have a high school diploma or GED.

Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills with coworkers and staff.

Have basic typing skills, PC computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office.

Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently under the authority of U.S.C. 7402(d) and 7407(d).

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds when required; push or pull up to 150 pounds on a rolling cart or using a pallet jack

Able to sit/stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours) and being able to lift totes weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively.

Must be able to understand the precautions required when handling hazardous materials and hazardous waste
