A-V Services Inc. Hiring for Accommodations Services Coordinator at Remote Full Time

An Accommodations Services Coordinator for AV Services, Inc. will provide CART, Captioning, and Sign Language Interpretation scheduling coordination. The successful Accommodations Services Coordinator will demonstrate effective event coordination, client communications, and initiative.

Objectives:

• Maintain superior client relations while coordinating all Multimedia Accommodation services requested.
• Display ownership of the Scheduling Team Shared Mailbox and Calendar.
• Present a professional image and adhere to business policies while representing A-V Services, Inc.

Job Qualifications

• A degree in or related experience working with people who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
• Empathy in this field is a must.
• Must approach business needs with a people-first approach.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Detail oriented
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to triage a high-volume inbox and handle last minute/high-pressure requests in a calm manner.
• Proficient with Microsoft tools, such as: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
• Strong team player: willing to take on extra projects or additional tasks off the plates of Team Leads and Manager
• Flexible and willing to accept change in a fluid environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Confirm and coordinate all bookings received through multiple intake channels.
• Communicate with Clients and Accommodation Services end users.
• Maintain Event Management System application for all bookings and reservations.
• Flag emails that need escalated follow-up
• Alert appropriate teams of same day pop-up and assist in scheduling resources whenever possible.
• Update and Audit daily logs
• Request/follow-up on requests for event materials (Slide Deck, Run of Show, List of Panelists/Speakers, etc.)
• Send daily captioning schedule to appropriate teams.
• Attend daily Scheduling meeting.
• Maintain Shared Calendar.
• Utilize and/or create boilerplate language for commonly occurring instances.
• Send global communications when a bank or facility closure directly affects regional support available.
• Additional projects and tasks as necessary

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
