What you’ll be doing:

There is a lot happening across our business with lots of projects on the go therefore we have an opportunity for a Senior Data Analysts to join our team. This role will be reporting to our Reporting and Analytics Manager where your ability to build strong relationships and technical skills will be key in providing analytics to our stakeholders so they can make strategic business decisions. You will be kept busy with:

• Extracting, preparing and manipulating data for modelling and analytics
• Working with large data sets and raw data to ensuring the end data is in a useable format for our stakeholders
• Assisting others with knowledge transfer, troubleshooting and data analysis principles
• Recommending and undertaking analysis to explain significant variances in key metrics
• Undertaking analysis to improve processes which will support our growth

A bit about you:

You’re the kind of person that proven extensive experience programming in SQL and Python. Good knowledge of visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI would be beneficial. You are an analytical thinker and can bring experience in a similar role and is experienced in analysing data for results. Your high attention to detail, ability to deliver quality outputs to tight deadlines, and your natural ease at building relationships with stakeholders will be held in high regard. Advantageous to the role will be tertiary qualification in a related discipline such as mathematics or statistics and insurance experience.
