Maven Dental Mackay City are looking for an experienced casual dental assistant to assist the dentist in making greater white smiles.

Our friendly and caring family practice has been servicing the Mackay region for over 90 years. We are dedicated to your oral health and want to help you maintain a beautiful smile. Maven Dental Mackay City has an experienced and highly skilled team that offers a wide range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, sedation, and oral surgery.

A snapshot of the position

• Chair side assisting;
• Patient care and management;
• Organising equipment and consumables for general anesthetics;
• Sterilising and instrument processes;
• Maintain a clean and healthy clinical environment;
• Room preparation;
• Ability to use basic computer software programs;
• Stock control;

What we’re looking for in YOU

• Previous experience in Dental Assisting preferred but not essential;
• Looking for next steps in career;
• Desire to deliver exceptional service;
• Willingness to learn and contribute to the team;
• Friendly and positive attitude;
• Excellent leadership skills
• Hygiene awareness and standard of infection control;
• Strong interpersonal skills; and
