Production Assembler

As an Production Assembler, you will be responsible for supporting the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels in Electrification Business Area. This position is based in Henderson; New Zealand. This position Reports to Production Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Conducting all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final products/systems/panel, including the packing where integrated with production lines
• Assembling and checking correct components for jobs given part number and description
• Using approved work instructions & drawings for controlled manufacture
• Quality testing/process checks as part of a defined production process
• Recording and filing manufacturing records
• Conducting shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance
• Operating within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area

Your background

• Assembly experience within a manufacturing environment
• Electrical knowledge and Experience with using hand tools
• Able to read and interpret product documentation
• Demonstrates quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to implement the Quality Assurance Processes and consistently meet high standards of workmanship
