As a Production Materials Coordinator, you will be responsible for Coordinating between the Production and Planning Fulfillment (P&F) team to streamline material supply and SAP issuance challenges resulting in smooth flow and on time delivery of products to customer in the Electrification Business Area. This position is based in Napier, New Zealand.

Reporting to Production Manager in running order reports to determine outstanding goods issuances (GI’s), resolve shortages, review & solve exceptions messages in coordination with P&F, our Warehouse team and other stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Confirming tracking database against SAP for system, serial number, customer, type, etc.
• Completing GR and advising product availability to Sales Support.
• Ensuring rejected/damaged materials on floor are handled as per NCR process in coordination with other departments involved.
• Creating job numbers in SAP for all rework jobs related to specific NCR’s.
• Communicating material shortages to P&F and SCM, keeping follow-up and communicate availability plan with production management team.
• Managing pick trolley availability for stores in-coordination with line leads.
• Ensuring all bulk material is available on lines and in case of non-availability necessary actions are taken to mitigate the risks to stakeholders.
• Managing finished goods loading into the container in coordination with line leads and sales support as per agreed schedule. Feedback to sales support in case of variations.

Your background

• 3+ years of experience with any MRP/ERP system ideally in manufacturing/engineering environment.
• SAP working knowledge is preferred.
• Shows strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Sound computer skills.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong desire to build sound relationships with key internal stakeholders.
