About You

The key skills and behaviours that make a truly great Immigration Assistant, and what we are looking for are:

• Proven prior experience within a similar administrative role within the immigration industry (at least 1 year), across a range of visa applications, specifically employer sponsored visas.
• Excellent communication skills – the ability to communicate via telephone and email in an effective and professional manner.
• The ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines, with an awareness of what tight deadlines mean in this industry.
• A genuine team player and a willingness to go above and beyond to help others.

About The Role

The Immigration Assistant is responsible for supporting our fantastic team of Immigration Advisers.

Broadly Speaking, Your Duties Will Include

• Prepare and review applications and supporting documents in compliance with relevant immigration laws and regulations; and company processes and policies.
• Provide clear, accurate, and up-to-date information to clients, ensuring they are well-informed about the process, requirements, and timelines.
• Manage client expectations and maintain ongoing communication to ensure satisfaction throughout the visa process.
• Monitor and track the status of applications with immigration authorities and other authorities and ensure timely follow-up on client cases.
• Handle any enquiries or issues related to applications, providing solutions or alternatives when necessary, and escalating to the Advisers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of client cases, applications lodged, and interactions using the company’s client management system.
• Perform administrative tasks as directed in regards to report preparation and other directives from management.
• Assisting in research as directed.
