Business Process Specialization professionals apply expertise in a specific business process delivery capability (or capabilities) to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent with our Standard Delivery Solutions and Service Level Agreements and drive continuous improvement.

The Buy Desk Manager manages and administers a range of Request for Proposal (RFP) initiatives, including but not limited to tracking of system bugs, reporting and procure to pay services.

Responsibilities: 

• Work with all phases of the procurement process from sourcing activities, negotiation, and strategic selection of goods and services

• Execute Buy Desk responsibilities, manage a team of Buy Desk analysts in delivering general procurement and sourcing related functions, trouble shoot system issues and manage issue to resolution, reporting, participate in SOW development, lead Desk Top Procedure DTP documentation exercise

• Escalation point to resolve issues

• Manage and leads a team of employees

• Communicates company goals, team metrics, and best practices

• Responsible for the team’s SLA

• Coach team members and resolve conflicts

• Organize team initiatives

• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills

• Manage and build client point of contact relationship

• Escalate timely through appropriate channels and manage issue to resolution

• Complies with all client published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to

• Setup and manage re-occurring meeting cadence with stakeholders to include preparation of related materials and effectively communicate report to the audience

• Demonstrates the ability, using data, orchestrate efficient service delivery operation and be in harmony with the ecosystem Workflow management excellent communication and organizational skills, accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities

• Develop new processes to help with downstream issues in the STP process

• Communicate expectations, assignments and responsibilities clearly and professionally

• Experience working with contracts and agreements

• Experience working in the RFx process

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or supply chain

• Basic computer knowledge of MS Office to include Excel (V-LOOKUP)

• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

• Desire to work in an information systems environment

• Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
