Accenture Hiring for DevOps Engineer Job at Perth, Australia Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and implement DevOps platform solutions for Accenture and clients.

• Deployment of infrastructure and applications to the cloud or on premise

• Supporting disaster recovery planning, capacity engineering, reliability improvement initiatives, configuration management and platform automation

• Managing, enhancing and monitoring environments

• Performance application monitoring and reporting.

• Provide ongoing support of hosted applications and infrastructure.

• Collaborating with the Development, QA, Security and Product teams.

• Perform root cause analysis for production errors

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred

• Experience working on a cloud or SaaS production operations team

• Experience working with on premise infrastructure management

• Previous experience in automation of service provisioning

• Previous experience in Infrastructure Monitoring, configuration and build activities

• Have experience working with common DevOps platform tooling (Chef, Puppet, Ansible)

• Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

• Industry certifications are highly valued, including vendor or methodology certifications

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly

• Hold a relevant Defence security clearance (NV1 preferred) or be eligible to receive a Defence security clearance.

• Australian citizenship is required to be eligible for an Australian Government security clearance

• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
