The Work:

• The Business Process Consultant will be part of an Accenture team and will be accountable for delivering Industry Best Practice guidance working with customers to achieve their business outcomes using ServiceNow.

• The Business Process Consultant must be an excellent communicator, tactful diplomat, problem solver and out of the box thinker – with the ability to understand and respond to customer and business needs in rapidly changing business environment.

• The position requires a deep understanding of the business of the customer and the new system, features and functionality to identify and document all needed changes and adjustments required to enable the business operation for users and processes which will interact with the system

• This role will lead all process and design workshops for the project and be a trusted advisor with the customer throughout the engagement.

• Strong interpersonal skills, a customer focused approach and an ability to work with cross-functional teams is required to be successful in this role.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need:

• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience.

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience working with ServiceNow as a Business Process Consultant or Business Analyst.

• Minimum 1+ years’ consulting experience in ITSM plus 2 of the following areas: HR, ITOM, CSM, IT Asset Management (HAM/SAM), SPM, WSD, FSO.

• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience developing requirements documentation, project artifacts and process documents.

• Minimum 1 ServiceNow Certification.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience.

Bonus Points If:

• ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) and ITSM Fundaments Certifications.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills both verbal and written; with strong presentation and facilitation skills.

• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint).

• Proficient in process management competencies.

• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.

• Strong experience in requirements gathering, story writing, test plan development and working on projects using agile methodologies and best practices.

• Desire to add value to the client and Accenture above and beyond the role.

• Agile Scrum Product Owner Certification.

• Business Process Management (BPC) training/certification.

• Proven experience identifying solutions that align to ITIL best practices including defining and deploying “future state” ITSM Process for clients aligned to the ServiceNow platform.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, New York, Maryland or Washington as set forth below.
