What does a Support Worker do?
Our support workers are caring people with a commitment to providing the best possible support to our clients. Each client will have individual care requirements however you may be expected to support with all elements of daily living such as personal care, food preparation, mobility or bowel/urinary continence care and ensure medication needs are met. You may also help our clients to access the community, undertake shopping for them or help them to take part in their hobbies.
Previous experience is not always necessary as we will provide training. The qualities needed to be a community support worker include: honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, flexibility, commitment and good communication skills

What are we looking for?
- Previous experience is preferred although not essential
- Someone with reliable transport and a current Full NZ drivers’ licence
