AccessHQ Hiring for Senior Software Engineer (Quality) Job at Sydney, Australia Full Time

AccessHQ, a Dialog Group company, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Sydney team.

The role
This is a multi-faceted role that is key to the success of the Automation & DevOps Practice in NSW and nationally. Core areas of involvement include:

• Supporting the sales effort by recommending strategies and solutions to our customers while educating our customers on what best practice automation looks like. You’re comfortable working with the sales team, meeting with customers and contributing to proposals and tender responses and explaining return on investment.
• You will stay up to date with new technologies and processes that can be used in evaluating software development quality
• Write and maintain program code to meet system requirements, system design and technical specification in accordance with best practice quality standards.
• Managing the delivery of automation & Devops work in NSW, providing mentoring and training to junior members of the practice and building a collaborative, supportive team environment.
• Ideally, you have some experience in training and will want to be involved in the delivery of our Automation Code Camps.

Specific skills and experience we’re looking for in this role are:

• A problem solving, can do attitude
• Experience in a prior consulting role
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Good relationship building ability
• You have worked with tools and technologies such as:
  • Best practice Test Automation with tools such as
    • Junit, TestNG, MSTest, NUnit, XUnit, Jest, Mocha etc.
    • Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor, Puppeteer
    • Cucumber, SpecFlow, JBehave, Robot Framework
    • SoapUI, Postman, REST-Assured, Karate
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with one or more of the following:
    • Jenkins
    • Bamboo
    • CircleCI
    • Azure Pipelines
  • Experience with IAC, Containers and Configuration Management tools such as:
    • Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS
    • Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Azure ARM

The Rewards:

This role attracts a salary of between $160,000 and $220,000 per annum plus Superannuation commensurate with your skills and experience. You will be recognised for great work, have an opportunity for career growth through training and mentoring and will work as part of a supportive team.
