The role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Member to join our Finance Team. The successful candidate will be someone who is proactive, self-motivated and has a strong work ethic.

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
• Completed studies in Accountancy/Bookkeeping Cert IV or higher

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and carry out Accounts Payable responsibilities. 
• Ensure that supplier invoices are correctly input into accounting system.
• Manage and resolve incoming and outgoing Accounts Payable emails.
• Attend to any delivery/customer disputes in relation to supplier invoices. 
• Process and manage timely payments to suppliers.
• Ensure that the Accounts Payable records are complete and accurate
• Create and process refunds due to customers.
• Reconciliation of company bank account and AMEX card.
• Respond promptly to internal Accounts Payable queries
• Other ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills

• Exposure to automated AP Systems highly regarded 
• Experience using Sage Intacct or SAP also highly regarded but not essential
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to think outside the box and is solution driven
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills 
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Confidence with GL coding of transactions
• Strong numerical, problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge and understanding of how an ecommerce business operates
• Competence with addressing queries professionally
