We are proud to be entrusted to manage our client’s drug and alcohol testing programs in strict compliance with the urinalysis testing procedures and breath alcohol testing procedure as set forth by 49 CFR Parts 40 drug and alcohol testing regulations and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Mandatory Guidelines for Federal Workplace Drug Testing Programs, which requires, in part, that urinalysis testing be confidential, professional and consistently follow a formal “chain-of-custody” procedure.

The selected candidates will provide Part Time drug and alcohol testing at the Pantex facility in Amarillo, TX. Routine duties and responsibilities will include urine specimen collections and breathe alcohol testing light receptionist duties, and greeting visitors. The selected candidate must have a high standard of competency, conduct and integrity.

Job Description

We have one (1) part-time position available.

Monday – Thursday and alternate Fridays: 2pm – 6pm. There may be rare instances where you may be required to arrive later to test at 7pm, 9pm or 11pm but you will be notified on that day. Typically about 2-3 times a month or so you may experience these later testing scenarios.

You shall be on call if and when a test is required when someone has an accident. This position requires you be on-call, at least two (2) weekends a month, to respond to post-accident or after business hours drug testing calls after standard work hours. $10.71 daily is paid to be in on-call status or $75 weekly. You will receive your regular hourly rate pay per hour in addition to being on call. You also have the option to be on-call regularly and consistently.

Approximately 3-4 “weekend” days per month, either Saturday or Sunday, we require testing. Typically beginning at 6am-8am or 6pm-8pm. We are made aware of the test times at the beginning of each week but we know well in advance the days we are scheduled to test on weekends.

Our staff is always available as a back-up when you require time off or need to change a weekend shift.

You must have sound written/oral communication capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills and have a minimum of two years administrative and/or specimen collection and testing work experience. The selected candidate must be proficient with computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Office, Excel and Outlook) to prepare and complete status updates. Exceptional attention to detail is required to ensure reports and other deliverables are prepared in compliance with company and federal drug testing workplace policies and procedures. Other Desired Skills & Experience

· Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 40 DOT, DHHS Federal Workplace Drug Testing Procedures and/or 10 CFR 707, Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites a strong plus but will train

· Experienced Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) training per 49 CFR Part 40 a strong plus but will train

· Demonstrated proficiency with the handling, protection, and control of sensitive information

· Ability to communicate with all levels of staff and clients

· Drug-Free as random urine drug screens are required

· Willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

· Clean criminal history to pass a stringent background screen

· Dependable, strong work ethic with a dependable vehicle and valid driver’s license
