ACES Hiring for Technical Support Representative at Remote Full Time

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for a technical support position.

Schedule:

This position is currently part-time.

Flexible schedule. We will work with your school schedule.

Day Shift required.

Maximum of 20 hours per week.

Business operating hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-2:00pm CST.

Schedule is flexible, however shifts must be within designated operating hours.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support to users of various computer systems including answering questions, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions to return systems to proper operation.

• Respond to email and phone inquiries.

• Talk clients through navigating web pages, logging in, resetting passwords, etc.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

• Maintain detailed records of daily interactions with customers, reported issues, and completed solutions along with any further actions required of management or repair personnel.

• Verify user-entered data.

*

• Develop troubleshooting procedures to help both support personnel and end users interact properly with software.

• Collaborate with technical staff and clients to establish goals and objectives for system improvements and upgrades.

*

• Answer, route and screen incoming phone calls; take messages when needed.

*

• Coordinate communication between employees and clients when asked.

*

• Create and save documents into Google Drive.

*

• Verify client demographic information.

*

• Collect payments from clients when necessary.

*

• Confirm/Call appointments for upcoming classes.

*

• Document telephone encounters in the customer management database.
• Create and implement new processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma and willingness to learn through on-the-job training
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances
• Quickly identify problems, form solutions, and execute step-by-step troubleshooting procedures
• Working knowledge of PC and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications
• This application includes assessments. Applications submitted without the Basic Computer Skills Assessment and Technical Support Skills Assessment will not be considered.
