This includes LANs, WANs, email, web and other servers, laptop, desktop, mobile devices, and security monitoring tools. This role will report to the IT Infrastructure manager.What You’ll DoAdminister LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systemsAdminister network security tools to protect all connected systemsTroubleshoot problems escalated from the helpdesk technician teamEvaluate and modify system performance on servers and network equipment.Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and securityEnsure network connectivity throughout the company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerationsDesign and implement methods for authentication and authorization of directory servicesAdminister servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patchesAbout YouMust haves:Education: Bachelor’s degree3 years of related system administration experienceNice to haves:Education: Bachelor’s degree Computer Science3-5 years of related system administration experienceYour SkillsAnalytical abilities to document IT requirements and configurations.Formulate and introduce new ideas and processes which improve performance and productivity.Highly Effective decisions making skills in handling numerous projects under pressure.Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver.Must be highly organized, able to manage and maintain many priorities simultaneously.Able to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines.Gather and interpret relevant data and information.Additional Preferred Skills:Prior experience with designing and administering IT infrastructure, specifically Microsoft Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 10.Prior experience with LAN / WAN networking and related equipment.
