Storeman  – Wind Farm Construction – Hawkes Bay, NZ – March 2023 start

About the role
The storeman will take on the responsibility on coordinating and managing the materials, equipment and logistics associated with the project. The role will require you to assist in the rental of equipment, buying of local materials, and managing logistics and keep accurate records.  
 
Duties

• Manage materials on site, packing and returning goods, ordering materials
• Sourcing local equipment, goods and materials
• Managing logistics of materials, equipment and plant
• Recording keeping
• Helping reduce costs where appropriate
• Advise and assist project delivery teams regarding materials & equipment
• Drive forklift to organise materials on site

 
Skills and Experience

• Storeman experience (ideally large-scale projects)
• Forklift licence
• Logistics experience
• Able to be based full time on regional site
• Must be IT literate with Excel/Emails
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• 12 month+ contract
• Camp Accommodation available if working away
