Actalent Hiring for 30-34/hr. QA Assistant at Kansas City, MO Full Time

Description:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Assistant will provide support to the site QAS in assigned projects, daily functions, administrative tasks, continuous improvements, and other quality initiatives at the facility to help maintain the Quality Assurance program and the Quality Management System at the site level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and documentation support for batch records.
• Review documents associated with the site’s QA program for completeness, errors, and omissions.
• Take part and assist the site with material management. This includes the examination and evaluation of each lot of incoming material before use to ensure that the material meets its established specifications and proper storage.
• Assist the site QAS in applying quality assurance processes and procedures at the site level to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support revision, review, and implementation of procedures, specifications, processes, and methods as required at the site level.
• Assist in the oversight of the metrology program at the site (i.e. equipment, personnel qualifications, validations, etc.).
• Review trends (e.g., environmental monitoring, deviations, facility issues, etc.) to initiate corrective and preventive actions and/or for continuous process improvement.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Scientific / Medical / Quality) preferred but not required
• Quality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USP, FDA, and/or cGMP regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of how and ability to write, review, and revise SOPs preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations and technical procedures required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals required.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and other QA documentation required.
• Proficient in MS Office applications required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to take feedback constructively and function in a team-oriented work environment
• Must be able to do work independently, recognizing what needs to be done and accomplishing it with minimal supervision

Hours:
Monday – Friday – 6am – 2:30pm.
