Description:

Our client is seeking a qualified Superintendent who must demonstrate the ability to manage the cradle-to-grave aspects of the entire life cycle of a small commercial and/or institutional design/build project or to support the project management process for larger projects. The Superintendent position includes an understanding of process management and the ability and agility to perform work that is contracted through a variety of delivery methods that include: indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ), Lump-Sum Contracting, Design/Build and Fast Track contracts. The Safety Manager accomplishes work primarily by means of subcontractors; however they also have the capability of managing self-performed construction activities that benefit the project. Manage task order type and design/build projects.

Our client is a Tribally-Owned and reputable 8A Construction firm. They play strictly in the Federal space, and are looking to continue to grow in the Northern VA/DC Market specifically. Their main office is in Purcellville, VA, and this is where office folks report to on a regular basis here locally.

ON SITE in Leesburg, VA Office. Currently, Silverlake is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join their team in VA long-term. They have a lot of workload right now, and are having to spread all the extra work around the leadership teams due to not having an APM supporting their jobs right now currently. They do all federal work, and are a general contractor within the federal space.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of PM experience or 3+ (MINIMUM)years of experience working on Federal IDIQ projects

2. Experience working on projects in the federal space (IDIQ’s, SATOC’s, MATOC’s, etc.)

3. AEC Degree (required by client sites)
