Job Title: Calibration Technician
Job Description
This client is a calibration services company that supports life sciences companies across the nation. These teams will sit onsite with Eli Lilly, supporting the new equipment calibration for the new Lilly center in Lebanon. You will work with other calibration engineers and technicians and report to an engineering manager at Eli Lilly. Calibration Technicians complete calibrations, qualifications, and PMs with accurate and timely GxP documentation, following client-specific policies and procedures. You are expected to take a proactive role in supporting the team and providing client support, building a high level of trust with internal and client personnel.
Hard Skills
Two-year degree in engineering/sciences or equivalent military training
Experience calibrating industrial equipment (gauges, temperatures, flow, pumps, electronics)
Experience troubleshooting equipment for calibrations
Soft Skills
Proactive in supporting the team
Ability to build a high level of trust with internal and client personnel
Attention to detail in handling and maintaining equipment
Capable of identifying and reporting safety issues
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Work Environment
On site in an industrial environment. Potentially required to travel 50% of the time to surrounding states, Ohio and Michigan. All travel will be expensed and paid for by the company. Travel will only occur during the week, ensuring you are home for the weekends. However, with this role at Lilly, travel is unlikely for a few years due to the massive scale of the project.
