Actalent Hiring for Controls Engineer at Flint, Michigan Full Time

Description:

Candidate will be responsible for Continuous Improvements to the Controls of Manufacturing equipment. You will provide technical support to the UAW electricians. Candididate will provide technical support for new installations of tools, equipment, and solve control issues on the shop floor. Will be uploading and installing programs to machinery as well.

Controls Engineer, allen bradley plc, fanuc control, siemens plc, hmi development

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must haves:

-5+ years experience with programming the following:

-Allen Bradley Control Logix 5000

-Modican Modsoft

-Fanuc robot programming

-troubleshooting, debug, and program

-Programming HMI software

-Ethernet, Devisenet, ControlNet

-must be able to read and interpret schematics

-HS Diploma

Nice to haves:

-Degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical degree

-ability to use AutoCad (open and manipulate files)

-designing

-2 years+ exp with application of Servo drive hardware and software

-previous work in a Stamping environment

Candidates must be able to scratch, they can’t be just a troubleshooter/debugger
