Actalent Hiring for Drafter at Gallatin, TN Full Time

Day-to day the position is responsible for:
Helping to prepare finished 2D drawings in AutoCAD by entering specs, dimensions, etc.

Supporting the engineering department with developing BOMs and ECNs.

The types of drawings they’ll be working with are mechanical, structural and sheet metal fabrication drawings. Will design everything from concrete footings, structural steel, custom machines and also do part selection from their design library.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of CAD drafting experience OR an associates degree in drafting.

2D AutoCAD experience is required.

Inventor and 3D experience is a PLUS but not required

This is an indefinite contract position with the intent to go full time based on the person development and advancement with their drafting skills.
