Description:

Registration of incoming samples from shipping department, maintaining a neat and accurate record system of work performed on a daily basis and as needed for quality control tests or regulatory purposes.

Enter the sample data into DQCI LIMS or Eurofins eLIMS sytems, either manually or through automatic export

Complete component testing on all incoming dairy producer samples in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. This includes basic media prep, plating, aseptic technique, plate counts, incubations, and bacteria cultures.

qPCR and ELISA instrumentation and analysis

Verify results and submit results, either electronically or in hard copy, to the appropriate personnel for Lab Testing

Understand and follow Quality System documents including Quality Manual, SOPs, and Methods.

Adhere to appropriate quality measures to meet or exceed the standards set by ISO/IEC 17025, government regulatory, and company requirements relevant to assigned duties.

Cleaning of glassware, vials, and workstations as needed to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Scientific Discipline

• Reliability and Work Ethic verified by references
