Actalent Hiring for Mechanical Designer/drafter at Wilmington Full Time

Description:

The Mechanical Designer will be supporting projects utilizing CAD software to upgrade existing equipment, provide refurbished second hand equipment and to refurbish equipment at a customer’s site.

Must haves:

1. Mechanical design experience

2. CAD or Solidworks

3. Knowledge of equipment parts; specifically filters if applicable

4. Ability to measure parts to recreate CAD drawings, using calipers and micrometers

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of AutoCAD experience

Ability to draft materials such as steel, metal and tubing

Ability to draft fabrication drawings

Experience getting parts from a customer and be able to reverse engineer to create a drawing

Ability to measure parts to recreate CAD drawings, using calipers and micrometers

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
