Actalent Hiring for Medical Assistant at waldorf, Maryland Full Time

Description:

The medical assistant will work with providers to triage and room patients, take vitals, and enter information into the EMR.

The MA will see approximately 50-60 patients per day.

The MA will be working with pediatric patients (0-21 years old) who are accompanied by their parents.

Will be doing blood pressures with blood pressure cuff and finger sticks and heel sticks for babies.

Must be passionate about working in the Pediatric Field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Medical Assistant with a minimum of externship experience in a pediatric, primary care or other specialty office.

Cert is preferred but not required. CMA, RMA, CCMA

Have active CPR

Strong customer service skills and ability to use an EHR system

Any of the following skills would be extremely helpful, however they are willing to train. Age-appropriate Immunizations, COVID Immunization, Point of Care testing, Cepheid- COVID , Strep, Flu RSV testing, Neb treatments, Ear Lavage.
