Scope of Work:

The Mechanical Designer/ Design Engineer will:

• Provide Engineering Support for project conceptual design activity.

• Leveraging existing nacelle designs to develop concepts to meet new customer requirements.

• Utilizing CATIA V5 to create layouts of concepts.

• Managing Design iterations in the PLM System.

• Coordinating with various other functions for feasibility studies.

• Working with Mass Properties focal to develop weight, center of gravity, and moment estimates.

• Supporting sourcing to identify potential suppliers and obtain preliminary quotes as required.

• Scope includes: Preparing engineering presentations, preparing 2D and 3D design layouts, participating in Concept Design Reviews, providing periodic status and coordinating with MRAS focal for the identified task.

• Deliverables: 2D/ 3D CATIA Assembly layouts of various concepts and iterations, as well as Concept Design Reviews/ presentations:

• Requirements: All concept developmental models and layouts to be managed in the STE Enovia DWB (PLM) Tool, the technical presentation to be uploaded to task specific STE Box folders. All drawings and modeling work to be done in CATIA V5.

• 6+ month contract opportunity.

• 2 openings.

• Citizenship is required.
