Actalent Hiring for Samples Chemist at Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin Full Time

Description:

Samples Chemist will perform QC testing using: FTIR, GC, Flash Point, Densitometer, Hydrometer, viscometer, turbidimeter, occasionally perform dilutions as well as microbial swabs. They will work with corrosives, acids and bases as well as formaldehyde from time to time.

Each day they will work and then rotate to a different section of the lab. 1 day they will do nothing but work in the office on CoAs/SDS (safety data sheets) and answering phones performing customer service work, and others they will perform sampling/testing. Can do 100s of samples in a day and up to 300 CoAs per day across all shifts. They are very fast paced, and attention to detail as well as focus in the lab is very key to success.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

BS Degree in the Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, minor in Chemistry)

Previous work experience (6 months)

1 year of lab work (school or otherwise)
