Job Title: Systems Engineer
Job Description
Our Client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer with strong experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements management, and Department of Defense (DoD) experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing complex systems and ensuring they meet all specified requirements within schedule.
Responsibilities
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Apply MBSE methodologies to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities.
Requirements Management: Develop, document, and manage system requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure traceability and compliance with DoD standards.
System Design and Integration: Lead the design and integration of complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
Verification and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to verify and validate system performance against requirements.
Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery.
Compliance: Ensure all systems and processes comply with DoD regulations and standards.
Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on MBSE, requirements management, and DoD projects.
Proficiency in MBSE tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Cameo Systems Modeler), requirements management, and systems engineering methodologies.
Active DoD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.
US Citizenship and Eligibility for a DoD clearance is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with DoD acquisition processes and lifecycle management.
Familiarity with simulation and modeling tools.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Work Environment
Employee will be working within an office environment. Employee may be expected to travel on occasion to locations where specific PPE or attire is necessary. The position may be on-site with the possibility of hybrid work arrangements
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 – $115000.00/yr.
